Thankful to be Used for His Glory

Lately I have been getting more opportunities to rap and minister to people, especially in the Atlanta area, and I am so grateful.  I used to have dreams of being some big Christian rap star.  I used to want to "Rock Crowds for Jesus."  However, as I have grown spiritually, my desire is not to rock crowds, but just to be wherever He wants me to be ministering to anyone He puts in my path.

Sometimes I think that people in ministry feel like their ministry and their personal life are completely separate.  I used to think that, too.  Sure, I loved Jesus, but my ministry was on the mic, not on the daily grind when I'm chillin or up at work.  But all Christians are called to be ministers and to share the good news with those who don't know it.    We cannot and should not neglect the people God has placed in our way on a daily basis because those are the people we are here to reach.  If we are not faithful with those he has placed in our path on a daily basis, then how will we ever be faithful with the responsibility of more people?

Remember that in the Bible, many of the miracles and times we see Jesus ministering was during so-called interruptions.  While the disciples would try to keep the kids away or move past the blind man crying out, Jesus took time for them.  We, too, need to look at those things that normally annoy us and ask, "Is there an opportunity to minister in this situation?"
